Sumedha is a Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) with over 13 years of professional experience in teaching. She is the Head of the Social Science Department for 9 and 10 grade at Ahlcon International School. Sumedha is a Global Citizenship Education School Coordinator. She is well experienced in inculcating 21st century skills among students and has initiated various programs with her colleagues at middle school level. Proficient in using tech tools in the classroom Sumedha also shares her knowledge with the teacher community through a series of webinars. She is a Certified Global Career Counsellor by UCLA extension.
Chandani is an English language teacher with 5 years of experience. An explorer, thinker and a zealous learner at heart. A social enthusiast working with great zeal towards the implementation of the SDGs and seeking answers to the global educational concerns. She is also an SDG Advocate with SDG choupal.
Mr Kaushal Sen is currently working as TGT Mathematics at Presentation Convent Sr. Sec School, Delhi. He is Google Certified educator who strives towards creating engaging experiences for his students. He is founder of #EdChatIND, a Twitter page for best practices via tweet chat and connecting educators across the globe. He is an Adobe Creative Educator, TeachSDGs Ambassador and Wakelet Community Leader. His newfound love is teacher training and is taking baby steps towards this endeavour.
Teaching and learning go side by side for Madhuri, who currently teaches English at Ahlcon International School (Mayur Vihar) in New Delhi. An academician for the last 17 years, Madhuri has groomed approximately 3000 students during these years. She believes her students leave a part of themselves with her forever and take a part of her along with them. She has developed content for the Vishwa books publication and written articles for different magazines. She has worked with British Council on ‘Spoken English Project’ as a senior teacher.
Being a people's person, her greatest assets are her communication skills, understanding of young minds, connection and strong bond with her vast circle of students, friends and colleagues.
Shalini is a Math educator and an Exam Officer with more than 15 years of teaching experience. An active member of NGOs Nirbhed Foundation and TIES, Shalini is also a Microsoft Innovative Educator, Flip grid Certified Educator, Wakelet Community Leader. Adobe Spark Certified Educator and SDGChoupal Advocate.
She has contributed towards skills training on topics such as eliminating Math phobia, activity designing and designing mathematics lessons on experiential learning. She is passionate about bringing action interventions to sustainably impact education.
Anupam Sharma is a passionate learner with more than 15 years of teaching experience, She is the Coordinator (CAIE) at Indirapuram Public School, her qualifications include BSc.BEd, MA, PGDSLM (IGNOU), CTET qualified, Certified 21st Century skills trainer from the British Council. She has been a panellist in the prestigious FicciArise webinar series where she shared her views on parental involvement and mental well being in online learning during this Covid-19 pandemic. She has written articles for GLOBAL TEACHING COMMUNITY, Cambridge TOT community, and has also been a featured guest on the Community Radio platform and has moderated educhats on Twitter. She was invited as an expert by Bodhi International School, to conduct sessions on Personality Development for students and is a contributor towards creating interest and love for learning science among other teachers by focusing on Active Learning strategies.
Ms Lovey Gupta is a Computer Science teacher at Ahlcon International School. As a teacher, she wanted to be more than just an educator by being a mentor who encourages and supports her students. To her, teaching means celebrating learning and she is a learner herself. She embraces changes, new ideas, or suggestions for positive changes. She believes in developing good teaching-learning coordination with the students. She plans, prepares, and delivers instructional activities that create a congenial learning environment so that learning becomes fun with growth and progress – imparting knowledge, skills, inculcating values and above all being a good human being.
Deepti is a diligent and dedicated Math educator and Lab Incharge with more than 14 years of experience at Ahlcon Int. School. She strongly believes in the saying by Albert Einstein "When You Stop Learning, Your Brain Starts Dying". She is known for incorporating creative ideas and innovative methods in her teaching-learning process to make Maths a joyful experience for her kids. She is a CENTA TPO Rank Holder, TQ Badge Holder, CENTA® Micro-Credential In Online Teaching Badge Holder. She has also been honoured as the Teacher Ambassador by CENTA TPO.
Deepti Chopra is an enthusiastic and compassionate teacher at Ahlcon International School. She has been a preprimary teacher for more than 5 years. She strongly believes that her goals can be achieved by organized teaching and hardwork. She works with a realization that every child is unique and learns at her own pace and likes to explore new apps and implements innovative activities in her class to make learning an enjoyable experience for her students. She has conducted webinar as a resource person for Teach A Class Foundation. She has received the Rising Star Award in her school.
Ms Priyanka Tiwary is a Certified Microsoft Innovative Educator, CENTA TQ Badge holder and National Rank holder in Teachers Professional Olympiad (TPO). Her philosophy in life is “No person was ever honoured for what he/she received. Honour has been the reward for what one gave.” And thus, learning and sharing is part of her journey as an educator who has 10 years of experience in the education sector. She is the Head of Mathematics department at Ahlcon International School, Delhi and was a pioneer in introducing and implementing “Slack”, an online collaboration tool, at her workplace. Building activity/game based classroom lessons designed around SDGs is her forte. As an SDG enthusiast, she has also coordinated and collaborated on International project “Solution17” with CYCDI (Nigeria). She has designed modules for the CBSE Online Teacher’s Training Manual (Primary Mathematics) and has also co-authored a research paper titled “Digitalisation in Classroom- Impact on Learning”.
Mrs. Sonia Wadhwa is presently working as the IT Manager and HOD ICT at The Sanskaar Valley School. She is a passionate senior educator with 23+ years of experience in the field of educational technologies. She is a Nearpod Certified Educator. She is a Microsoft Technology Associate for Java, Certified Microsoft Office Specialist for Word, Excel and PowerPoint 2016, Microsoft Certified Educator Expert, Wakelet and Flipgrid Ambassador, Google certified digital citizenship facilitator, Google Certified Educator for Scratch and MIT App Inventor. She is also a Master Trainer and MIEE Fellow with Microsoft, an Adobe Creative Educator and India Ambassador
She loves her subject and makes all possible efforts to teach and spread the waves of learning to several students. She uses technology to teach students who are at distant location, takes special classes for less privileged and conduct special remedial classes for those who require extra help. She considers her major accomplishment the success of her students!
