Even though Ghouse’s school is equipped with qualified and motivated teachers who have a passion for teaching, it lacks amenities like labs and libraries. Ghouse wants piCards to help track the overall development of students and classroom interaction.
I am the Principal of Indian Stars Grammar School in Hyderabad. It is a low-income private school with a goal to provide a quality education with good facilities to children from below poverty line communities. Even though the school is equipped with qualified and motivated teachers who have a passion for teaching, it lacks amenities like labs and libraries which help in the overall development of students.
Most students come from families where parents have not received a formal education. This makes it difficult for students to remain invested in their own education. They struggle with analyzing concepts, reading and recitation.
I became a teacher by choice. Over the last 10 years of being in this profession, I have enjoyed using different methods of teaching and have big dreams for all my students.
I want to bring piCards to my classroom. This innovative tool will not just get students pumped up about lessons, but will also help me. It will provide data about student performance in class tests and quizzes which can be used to help me prepare for subsequent classes and also plan for remedial lessons.
