I am on a mission- I want to give my students an education that will set them on a path to success. I want to give them the best friends they could ever have- books! I teach in a heavily under-resourced community in Pune, but do not allow such roadblocks to demotivate me.

I go out of my way to provide my students with resources that will help them develop 21st century skills and values. I love interacting with my students and hope these conversations will make them fall in love with the subjects I teach. Reading books is another way to open up new worlds for them.

As someone who loves reading myself, I can foresee the impact reading will have on my students. Their reading and comprehension skills will improve and impact their performance in other subjects like History and Maths. The stories they read will tell them things that they may otherwise never know. The excerpts of heroes and leaders that they find in these books will inculcate values like curiosity, courage and leadership.

You can be a part of my mission. By donating to this campaign, I will receive support to use Pratham’s Library-in-a-Classroom and I can help contribute to the intellectual and emotional development of my students.

**Your donation will fund a program which helps teachers effectively use their new solutions in the classroom. Program support includes weekly calls, observations, feedback and troubleshooting advice.
