Stepping into the community center, Alice saw that her students had a love for learning. All they lacked was a guidance and exposure to tools and methods that could make them better learners. Alice plans on using piCards to change this situation.

Being brought up in the same community where my students come from, my story is a unique one. I am the President of Saans Foundation in Pune that runs a community center for children from slum areas. I saw how much the children wanted to learn. What was lacking though, was the guidance and exposure to various tools and methods to help them learn better. piCards could help me get my students to love learning by integrating this interactive tool in my lessons. 

I am a dedicated teacher. In spite of being in this profession for 6 years, I am open to continuously developing my skills and learning new teaching methods to help my students. I believe that incorporating digital tools, like piCards would benefit my students. piCards is mobile application that helps teachers check for understanding and records student responses in real-time. 

This means that I will be able to hear what my students really want to say at all times, in the most efficient manner. This tool can be used for assessments, answering quizzes or even checking attendance, saving my time which can then be used to organize other activities. Your donation could help me and my students enjoy our time at this community center.

Your donation will fund a program which helps teachers effectively use their new solutions in the classroom. Program support includes weekly calls, observations, feedback and troubleshooting advice.
