Farha works to stop students from dropping out of school before 10th grade by engaging them in her classes. She works hard to conduct activities that grab their attention and believes that a Science Kit would really help her.

I am a teacher at Ashraya Initiative for Children (AIC) in Pune. AIC works with the Waghri and Sikligar communities, which are Denotified Tribes. It is an after-school community centre which children from surrounding areas attend. I want to promote the physical, socio-emotional and cognitive development of my students one step at a time. 

I don’t want to provide just an education, but an excellent education to every child that comes to AIC. I want to stop my  students from dropping out of school before the 10th grade by keeping them engaged. For my students to be financially independent one day they have to do well in academics, so I work a lot to conduct activities that interest them and ensure that their parents support their studies. I also organize community meetings to discuss issues of health and academics as well.

Farha wants to give her students the chance to learn science by experimenting. Hands-on learning will encourage her students to be more invested in their education, and help her reach her goal for them. Donating to this campaign will give Farha the support needed to use this solution and help her students enjoy Science.

Your donation will fund a program which helps teachers effectively use their new solutions in the classroom. Program support includes weekly calls, observations, feedback and troubleshooting advice.
